Custom Cabinets in Clearwater
Clearwater work splits fairly cleanly between mainland family homes and the beach and barrier-island properties, and the two have genuinely different requirements.
Condominium and beach-property work
A large share of Clearwater Beach and Sand Key work is condominium renovation, which brings constraints that single-family work does not. Buildings typically have approval processes for interior work, restricted service-elevator hours, and limits on when noisy work can happen. These are schedule facts rather than obstacles, but they have to be designed around, components need to be sized to fit the service elevator, and the install sequence has to fit the building's window.
We would rather know about a building's rules at the measurement than discover them on install day. If you can get us the renovation guidelines before we quote, the lead time we give you will be one you can rely on.
Salt air and the hardware specification
On a barrier island, chloride exposure is the governing factor for anything with metal in it. Hinges, slides and fasteners corrode first, and a seized slide or a rust-bled fastener head on a finished face is disproportionately expensive to put right once the cabinetry is installed. Near the Gulf we specify corrosion-resistant hardware as standard rather than as an upgrade, and for genuinely exposed outdoor installations the substrate decision changes too.
Mainland Clearwater
Away from the water, Clearwater is largely mid-century and later single-family housing, and the work looks much like the rest of Pinellas: kitchen reconfigurations, walk-in closet systems built to full ceiling height, and bathroom vanities built in plywood to survive the humidity. Standard specification, no coastal premium required.
Areas we work in and around Clearwater
We travel to Clearwater and the beach communities for measurement, install and follow-up, all handled by our own crew.
