Luxury Wall Paneling
Floor-to-ceiling feature walls in fluted, slatted and raised-panel profiles, statement paneling that turns a wall into the focal point of the room, finished to match your cabinetry.
Why paneling goes wrong
Panelled walls fail on geometry, not on material. The stile and rail widths have to be set out across the real wall so the layout lands symmetrically and the end panels are not conspicuously narrower than the rest. Fluted and slatted walls live or die on reveal consistency. The eye reads a drifting gap instantly across a long run.
We set out the elevation before fabrication and show it to you as a drawing, so the proportions are a decision rather than an outcome. Components that need to repeat are machine-cut; the parts meeting the building (ceiling lines, returns, outlet and switch penetrations) are fitted on site.
Profiles
Fluted gives vertical rhythm and a strong shadow line; it suits entry walls, bar fronts and bed walls. Slatted reads more open and contemporary and can be backed in a contrasting colour or acoustic felt. Raised panel is the traditional option for dining rooms, studies and stair walls. Full-height flat panel with fine reveals is the quietest and most modern of the four.
All of them can be finished to match cabinetry elsewhere in the project, which is the main practical advantage of having the same shop build both. A feature wall that is one shade off from the adjacent built-in is worse than no feature wall at all.
Where it works
Residentially: entry walls, bed walls, dining rooms, stair walls, home offices and powder rooms. Commercially: lobbies, restaurant dining rooms, hotel corridors, conference rooms and reception backdrops. On the commercial side, slatted paneling with an acoustic backing also does measurable work on reverberation in a hard-surfaced dining room.
