Custom Millwork
Architectural millwork made to spec: slat walls, paneling, built-ins, trim and feature pieces, CNC-cut and finished in our own shop.
Work that has to fit a drawing exactly
Millwork is the category where the gap between a shop that can cut accurately and one that cannot becomes obvious immediately. A slat wall with inconsistent reveals, a panelled wall whose stile widths drift across a run, a built-in whose scribe line wanders, these are not finish problems you can caulk out. They are cutting problems.
We CNC the components that need to repeat precisely and hand-fit the parts that need to meet an imperfect building. That combination is what lets a parametric slatted form or a run of full-height paneling read as deliberate rather than approximate.
What falls under millwork here
Built-in bookcases and media walls. Fireplace surrounds and mantels. Window seats and banquettes. Wainscot, board and batten, and full-height panelled walls. Fluted and slatted feature walls. Custom trim profiles matched to an existing historic profile. Coffered and slatted ceilings. Desks, credenzas and conference-room casework on the commercial side.
For renovation work in older Tampa neighbourhoods we can match an existing trim profile rather than approximate it with the closest stock moulding, bring us a short offcut and we will reproduce it.
Working from your drawings
If you are a designer or architect, send us the millwork package and we will quote off it directly and flag anything that will not build as drawn before it becomes a change order. If you are a homeowner working from inspiration photos, we will produce the 3D layout and the elevation drawings as part of the design stage, and you approve every dimension before we cut.
