Custom Cabinets & Millwork in Sarasota

A market with a design vocabulary

Sarasota's modernist tradition is still visibly present in what gets built and renovated there, and it shows up in what clients ask us for. Handle-free flat-panel doors with an integrated gola J-channel come up far more often than they do elsewhere in our service area, as do full-height flat panel walls with fine reveals and slatted ceiling elements.

That work is unforgiving. A handle-free kitchen has no hardware to distract the eye from an inconsistent reveal, and a fine-reveal panelled wall shows every millimetre of drift across a run. It is precisely the category where CNC fabrication from an approved model matters, and where we set the elevation out as a drawing before anything is cut.

Working with designers and architects

More of our Sarasota work arrives as a millwork package from a design firm than as a direct homeowner enquiry. We are glad to quote off drawings, and we will flag anything that will not build as drawn before it becomes a change order rather than after. If you are specifying for a client, you get one contact through fabrication and install, and the shop that priced it is the shop that builds it.

Distance, and being honest about it

Sarasota is the far end of our service area. For a full kitchen, a millwork package or a commercial fit-out, that is a trip worth making and we make it routinely. For a single small vanity it may not be, and we would rather say so at the enquiry stage than quote a travel premium you should not have to pay. Tell us the scope and we will give you a straight answer.
