Custom Kitchen Cabinetry

A kitchen built to your room's real dimensions rather than to the nearest stock size. Every box in solid birch plywood, every drawer dovetailed, installed by the crew that built it.

Built to your room, not to the nearest 3 inches

Stock cabinetry comes in three-inch increments, and the gap between what the manufacturer offers and what your room actually measures gets absorbed by filler strips. If you are still deciding whether the existing boxes are worth keeping, the signs it is time to replace cabinets is the shorter read. In a typical Tampa kitchen that is somewhere between four and eleven inches of dead space, space you paid for and cannot use.

Custom means we measure your room, including the parts of it that are not square, and build to those numbers. Older Tampa and Seminole Heights houses are rarely plumb; a cabinet run built to nominal dimensions will show a tapering gap at the ceiling line that no amount of crown moulding hides cleanly. We scribe to the wall instead.

What goes into the box

The carcass is 3/4" solid birch plywood, not particleboard, not MDF with a printed finish. In a Florida kitchen this matters more than it does further north: a dishwasher leak or a slow supply-line drip that would stain a plywood box will turn a particleboard box into something structurally unsound, and the humidity alone is enough to swell an unsealed core over a few seasons.

Drawer boxes are dovetailed. Slides are full-extension soft-close, so the back of a deep pot drawer is reachable rather than theoretical. Hinges are six-way adjustable soft-close, which matters two years in when the house has settled and a door needs to come back into alignment. That is a two-minute adjustment rather than a service call.

Styles and finishes

Shaker remains the most requested door in Tampa Bay and works in almost any house. Flat-panel slab with an integrated gola J-channel gives a handle-free modern kitchen. Raised panel suits traditional and colonial-style homes, recessed panel bridges the two, and beadboard reads coastal or cottage.

All five styles are available in twenty-plus colours and finishes. Bring an inspiration photo and we will match it, or start from scratch at the design consultation. If you want to see and feel the finish before you commit, ask for samples. We would rather you decide holding the door than looking at a screen.

Common questions

Common questions about kitchen cabinetry

It depends on linear footage, door style, finish and hardware, so every quote follows an on-site measurement and is put in writing. We have written a detailed breakdown of what actually drives cabinet pricing in Tampa Bay, see our cost guide for honest numbers before you start getting bids.

From approved design to installed cabinetry is typically several weeks, driven mostly by finish selection and shop queue. You get a lead time in writing with your quote, and because we build and install in-house there is no third-party vendor adding float to that number.

Yes, routinely. We build off their drawings and finish schedule and coordinate directly with them so you are not relaying messages between trades.

Yes, financing is available. Ask at the consultation and we will walk you through the options alongside the written quote.
